.”The Angel With Blue Wings” is an autobiography and it tells the story of the darkest, most difficult year in the life of its main character-Felicia, a 33 year-old Romanian woman of German ethnicity. She may pass for a successfull woman: she has two beautiful children, her own business and is married to a rich, famous surgeon. Indeed, she has a great, as great as it can be since she knows about and has- for long- to put up with her husband’s infidelity, ”for the sake of her family”. Seeking for a change, she decides to travel along her spouse in one of his business trips to Tel Aviv, completely unaware of the fatidic encounter she is to have with Elijah, their Jewish host; a five-day journey that would make a turning point into her life. Hoplessly in love with Elijah, she confronts her unfaithful husband, which triggers a painful divorce, but also, her chance to find and win herself back, this time, as a single woman. Seven months later, encouraged by Elijah, she goes back to Tel Aviv, but this second encounter with the man she had been fantasizing over, takes a firey, unexpected turn, leading each of them on separate paths. After four days, she meets Asaff by the swimming pool of the hotel where she stays, an extremely handsome but complicated man; this takes her on a three-month erotical yet deceitful adventure. And again, she has to answer herself the question”Who am I?”.
